managed the physical relocation of DS-1 and DS-3 voice and data circuits from

Operations, Outside Workforce (OSWF), while negotiating with customers for
minimum circuit downtime during the relocation. Actualized access

Supervised
the operations and maintenance of the Electronic Communications Trouble
Administration Gateway (ECTA). This is an e-bonded Transmission Control
Protocol (TCP) based, Wide Area Network, (WAN) connecting AT&T and the
Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) community. It allows for trouble report
transactions to be exchanged between AT&T and its bonding partners in
real time. Managed all system releases and upgrades to the ECTA Gateway
and supervised a cross-organizational team of 10 individuals that included
employees and outside vendor consultants. Negotiated all system
interface agreements with the LEC community and acted as liaison at industry
forum meetings, ATIS, in support of electronic bonding. Accomplishments
included project managing an upgrade from X.25 to TCP as the communications
media for the ECTA Gateway resulting savings of $540,000 per year. ·
Designed
Synchronous Optical Networks for AT&T's market entries into Dallas and
Seattle. These were complete network designs that included OC-3, OC-12
and OC-48 fiber rings with specifications of single mode or multi-mode fiber
optic cable. Designs incorporated one-time cost estimates for all
hardware, DDM-1000, SLC etc. as well as monthly operational costs to run the
network. Responsibilities included submitting an executive summary to
